ROXBURY TWP. – A program entitled “Making Sense of Blockchain, Crypto and Business” is planned for Wednesday, Nov. 3, at the Roxbury Township Public Library, located on Main Street in Succasunna.
This “Business Beyond Basics Program” will be held in person at the library from 6 to 7:45 p.m.
How is crypto important, and why should you care? Through this mini crash-course, patrons will gain an understanding of cryptocurrencies and the blockchain technology that powers them. They will learn how crypto, blockchain and decentralized finance (DeFi) are transforming– and eliminating– industries completely, and how to know if yours is at risk.
The group will discuss how and if crypto will become mainstream and learn about some tools, terminology and challenges to help navigate this interesting new area.
Networking begins at 6 p.m. when Roxbury Area Chamber of Commerce members can come early and enjoy getting to know chamber members and library patrons. At 6:30 p.m., the presentation begins.
